Grooming
WE TAKE BRUSHING VERY SERIOUSLY!
PLEASE do NOT take brushing lightly! If you don't get this amount of fur after a good brushing session, you haven't done the deed! Plenty of bunnies die because of a blockage that causes GI Stasis, and more often than not it's due to a lack of knowledge of HOW and HOW OFTEN to brush!
Yes, there are other factors that CAN cause GI Stasis, but a lack of brushing or incorrect brushing is the key culprit. Here are the others:
Be thorough
One of our members, Alta, said: “This picture is pretty representative of what the last shedding/combing session looked like. I also use a small plastic lice comb (looks like a Bic razor in shape) for the contour areas under her jaw. It takes time to do a proper grooming, you can't rush it even with a great tool like the HairBuster. Patience and a light, gentle touch are the key.” She’s right! <3
Learn the technique
Please contact BWF at info@bunnyworldfoundation.org for a referral to a Bunny Groomer Recommended by BWF.
A GROOMING SESSION should include:

- nails clipped and filed
- ears, teeth and scent glands cleaned
- soothing massage
